Music Ministry
Chancel Choir
George Hiatt, Organist/Choirmaster, directs the chancel choir, which is made up entirely of volunteers from the congregation. We welcome anyone who is interested in singing in the choir, and no prior experience is necessary. The choir sings during our Sunday morning traditional services.
Soloists
We periodically feature various talented local vocalists and instrumentalists during our morning worship services. Soprano Ashley Fabian has been a mainstay with our chancel choir and leader of the soprano section! She has helped to elevate the level of the chancel choir's excellence. Ashley has performed with the College of Charleston choir, as well as starring in the leading role with local opera companies. We feel truly blessed to have her singing with us!
Special Instruments
We are very fortunate to have an assortment of excellent instruments at St. Johannes. Shown above are our Zimblestern, Austin pipe organ, Baldwin baby grand piano, and harpsichord.
